Trees forgive. There is no straight line anywhere in a grove, and no leaf has to land in a particular place. You build the white trunks first, then the gold comes over the top in small strokes until the light looks right.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe palette runs warm. Lemon yellow and yellow ochre carry the leaves, burnt sienna and burnt umber the trunks and shadow, and there is phthalo green, light blue and ultramarine in there for the depth behind the grove.
