Four colors we have never made before. These are not colors you mix in. They go on top. Build your painting the way you always do, with all that sky, depth, and texture underneath, and then press the metallics over the ridges and peaks with your knife.
A little shimmer across the texture. A glow on the water. A touch of light on the highest ridge.
Metallic White is the one Jen is most excited about — soft and luminous with a pearly shimmer that shifts depending on how you stand in front of it. Build your aspen trunk in titanium white first, then skim this over the top and watch the bark light up. Snow ridges. The glowing edge of a cloud. Frost on a branch.
Metallic Gold is bright and warm, a rich golden amber. It reflects harder than the other three, so a little goes a long way. Sunlight on water, sun-hit mountain faces, flower centers.
Metallic Copper is the energetic one — warm and reddish with orange and rust running through it. Autumn leaves. Sunlit rocks and trunks. Tuscan rooftops, better than burnt sienna because it brings the shine as well as the color.
Metallic Bronze is the subtle one. Deep and warm, more brown than copper, more muted than gold. Warm highlights across textured bark and foreground grasses.

When will my order ship?
These are being made now. Your order ships ship end of September, and we will email you the moment it leaves. Your course unlocks the same day.
Why is this a pre-order?
We only make what we know people want. This is the entire first run — 360 sets — and once they are claimed the next batch will not arrive for several months.
Do I need two coats?
Sometimes, yes. Metallics are more translucent than our standard colors, which is exactly what lets them catch the light. Build your base color first in an opaque paint, then apply the metallic over the top. That is how they are designed to be used.
Why only 16 oz? That seems like a lot.
It is — and it will last you a very long time. These are finishing colors used a little at a time, so a jar goes much further than a regular color. Four ounce jars are coming in a later run.
Do I have to buy the bundle to get the tutorial ?
Yes. The tutorial was made for this painting and this launch, and it is only available with a Metallic Collection order.
I already own most of these colors. Do I need the full kit?
No — take the Metallics Only option. It has the four new colors and the same course.
Can I use these with paints I already own?
Absolutely. They go over anything. If you already paint with DabblePaints you will find they behave exactly the way you expect.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, using DDP — all shipping fees, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout, so there are no surprises on delivery.
